• Additions/Deletions/Changes: Supply this information and Jobs Printing & Mailing can perform the changes.
• Dedupe: Check your direct mailing list for multiple records by exact address match or exact name and address match. Upon your direction, Jobs Printing & Mailing removes the duplicate recipient to ensure that only one piece mails per household. It is important that the name field, whether it is a combined Fullname or separate First and Last name fields, is consistent especially when you supply multiple direct mailing lists. The name fields are also necessary for a good dedupe.
• CASS/Presort: With each mailing list, Jobs Printing & Mailing CASS certifies your direct mailing list. CASS certification corrects the recipient address to meet Post Office requirements. Then, Jobs Printing & Mailing performs a presort on your direct mailing list, which places the addresses in carrier route order. These services lower postage rates and speed up delivery time from the Post Office. Sometimes, CASS certification cannot correct addresses. Addresses that do not qualify may mail at the First Class rate of $0.42 or may not be able to mail at all. First Class mail is the only mail that does not need CASS certification, but it is highly recommended.
• NCOA (National Change of Address): You want to target YOUR customers, so Job Printing & Mailing recommends to NCOA your direct mailing list once a year. This service "washes" the direct mailing list and provides information on addresses that moved with a forwarding address, addresses that moved without a forwarding address and addresses that have not moved. Jobs Printing & Mailing removes and updates these addresses in your direct mailing list based upon the NCOA changes. This ensures your direct mailing list reaches YOUR customer and reduces postage costs. By 2010, the Post Office requires an NCOA on every direct mailing list.
